UAE stock markets end Monday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have witnessed an upward performance by the end of Monday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.26% or 7.30 points to close Monday's session at 2,723.24 points.

A total of 155.39 million shares were exchanged through 3,290 transactions valued at AED 253.13 million.

The market cap value rose by around AED 1.04 billion to AED 363.32 billion, compared to AED 362.28 billion during the previous session.

Emirates Refreshments Co (ERC) led the rising stocks with 14.83%, while Dar Al Takaful Company topped the losing stocks with 3.42%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went by around 0.08% to end Monday's session at 5,617.85 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 506.16 million after 103.02 million shares had been traded through 4,116 transactions.

The market cap value increased by AED 2.36 billion to AED 794.57 billion, compared to AED 792.21 billion during the previous session.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co PSC (TKFL) headed the green zone with 5.88%, while Foodco National Foodstuff led the red zone with 4.92%.
