UAE stock markets maintain upward performance on Tuesday

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have maintained the upward performance by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.15% to close Tuesday's trading session at 2,608.90 points.

A total of 330.09 million shares were traded through 5,048 transactions valued at AED 438.89 million.

The market cap value increased by AED 2.07 billion to AED 350.74 billion, compared to AED 348.67 billion during the previous session.

Emirates Refreshments Co (ERC) led the rising stocks with 14.98%, while Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) topped the losing stocks with 2.28%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up by around 0.55% to settle at 5,143.52 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 468.72 million after 109.49 million shares had been exchanged through 2,691 transactions.

The market cap value reached AED 736.85 billion, up AED 2.11 billion compared to AED 734.74 billion during the previous session.

RAK Properties headed the green zone with 4.08%, while Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials came on top of the red zone
