DFM ends Monday up; market cap reaches AED 294.13bn

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) edged up 0.1% or 2.24 points to 2,061.32 points by the end of Monday's trading session, maintaining its upward performance on Sunday, 26 June.





A total of 450.93 million shares were traded through 6,106 transactions at a total value of AED 348.28 million.





The market cap value rose by AED 560 million to AED 294.13 billion, compared to AED 293.57 billion during the previous session.





The real estate sector led the gainers with 0.43%.





Arabtec Holding headed the rising stocks with 14.85%, while Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) came on top of the losing stocks with 3.46%.





Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 100.98 million shares, while Arabtec Holding recorded the highest turnover of AED 57.57 million.





Damac Properties topped the rising blue chips with 8.27%, while Emaar Properties led the losing blue chips with 1.92%.
