DFM ends Sunday on green zone

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) edged up by 0.17% or 3.53 points to close Monday's trading session at 2,064.96 points, maintaining its positive performance on Sunday, 19 July.





A total of 195.84 million shares were exchanged through 3,546 transactions valued at AED 197 million.





The market cap value rose by around AED 110 million to AED 293.06 billion, compared to AED 292.95 billion during the previous session.





The real estate sector came on top of the risers with 2.13%, while the investment and financial services segment headed the decliners with 0.08%.





Gulf Navigation Holding topped the green zone with 7.02%, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank led the red zone with 4.93%.





Arabtec Holding was the most active stock with 31.78 million shares traded at a total value of AED 29.18 million.





DXB Entertainments led the rising blue chips with 1.69%, while Emirates NBD hit the top of the losing blue chips with 1.93%.
