DFM resumes upward performance on Tuesday

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 1.13% or 24.65 points to settle at 2,191.16 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session.





Around 112.28 million shares were exchanged through 2,887 transactions at a total value of AED 176.87 million.





The market cap value rose by about AED 1.99 billion to AED 308.98 billion, compared to AED 306.99 billion.





The real estate sectors led the risers with 4.48%, while the banks segment came on top of the decliners with 0.07%.





ENBD REIT topped the rising stocks with 7.33%, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment headed the losing stocks with 4.98%.





Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 41.4 million, while Union Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 5.69 million shares.





Damac Properties led the rising blue chips with 6.73%.
