UAE stock markets close higher on Tuesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s session at 3,252.71 points after rising by 35.21 points (1.09%).

The trading value amounted to AED 201.12 million through the exchange of 64.13 million shares, compared to AED 143.88 million and 58.46 million last session.

Al Salam Bank was the top riser with 4.45%, while Ithmaar Holding led the fallers with 3.74%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 10.42 million shares exchanged at AED 54.29 million.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 1.98% to 9,392.10 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.34 billion after 173.73 million shares were exchanged, compared to AED 1.27 billion and 189.22 million shares in the prior session. The market cap stood at AED 1.98 trillion.

Al Buhaira National Insurance Company (ABNIC) advanced the risers with 15%, while Aram Group led the fallers with 5.08%.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 334.68 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 24.04 million shares were traded.
