Nasser Social Bank commits funds for health sector
ArabFinance: Government-backed Nasser Social Bank supported Egypt's health sector with EGP 21.68 million during fiscal year 2019/2020, according to a January 11th Cabinet statement.
The bank has pledged EGP 16 million for equipping COVID-19 quarantine hospitals over the past period, Deputy Chairman Mohamed Ashmawy stated.
Egypt's finance ministry earmarked EGP 3.8 billion to support the health sector across the country last March, when the pandemic started.
