‎Saudi bank loans to public, private sectors rise 15% to SAR 2.082 trln in October

‎Saudi bank loans granted to the public and private sectors increased 15% by the end of October to SAR 2.082 trillion, compared to SAR 1.807 trillion a year earlier, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Private sector lending also rose 16% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.010 trillion for the same month, exceeding SAR 2 trillion barrier for the first time.

Meanwhile, loans granted to non-financial public sector institutions amounted to about SAR 72.5 billion at the end of October, an increase of 3%, compared to the same period in 2020.
