Saudi Ministry of Investment Signs 3 MoUs at FII7

Future Investment Initiative Seeks to Meet Challenges of Global Economies

The Future Investment Initiative (FII) forum in Riyadh emphasized the importance of Saudi Arabia’s efforts, within the framework of Vision 2030, for economic transformation, with a focus on the optimal use of modern technologies and confronting the challenges of global economies.

The three-day forum, which opened its seventh edition on Tuesday under the title, The New Compass, is attended by around 6,000 participants from more than 90 countries, and 500 speakers from different sectors inside and outside the Kingdom. Among its objectives is to highlight possible solutions for economic challenges and rely on the optimal use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, in order to advance global economies.

In remarks on the occasion, Saudi Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Falih said: “We will turn challenges into opportunities by investing in our human energies and resources.”

For his part, the Governor of the Saudi Public Investment Fund, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Aramco, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Investment Initiative Foundation, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, said that the fund focuses on 13 sectors to achieve continued development and pluralism in the economy.
