UAE banks’ assets record AED 3.19trn in June 2020

The banks' deposits reached AED 1.866 trillion in June

UAE - Mubasher: The value of the UAE banks' assets rose by 7.8% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 3.19 trillion by the end of June 2020, compared to AED 2.959 trillion in the same period of 2019, according to the latest data by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).





The banks' deposits reached AED 1.866 trillion in June 2020, up 5.2% from AED 1.774 trillion in the corresponding month of 2019.





The lenders' total credit ratio increased by 5.8% to AED 1.791 trillion in June 2020 from AED 1.693 trillion in June 2019.





Meanwhile, the 'N1' cash offer decreased by 1.2% to AED 557.4 billion in June, compared to AED 564.3 billion in the year-ago period.
