Bahrain: Active coronavirus cases at 10,841

Out of 16357 COVID-19 tests carried out on 20 April 2021, 1039 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Of these, 448 are expatriate workers, 554 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 37 are travel related.There are currently 95 cases in a critical condition, and 144 cases receiving treatment. 10746 are stable out of a total of 10841 active cases.Five women – a Bahraini (65) and four expats (aged 62, 55, 62 and 40) died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 605.
