Bahrain: Health Minister urges compliance to reduce COVID-19 cases

Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh urged full compliance with the mandatory precautionary measures to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). She called on everyone to show determination and resolve, more than ever before, and adhere fully to the instructions of the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 for a period of two weeks, until the 1st of October in order to reduce the rates of infections.

She said that  recklessness of some categories, which failed to comply with mandatory procedures, was the direct cause which led to the spike of infections in the past days.

The minister warned that Bahrain's caseload will continue to surge if some irresponsible parties continue their complacency and recklessness.
