Health official urges Egyptians to abide by COVID-19 measures as next 10 days are most serious

CAIRO – 3 May 2021: Head of the central administration for preventive affairs at Egypt's Ministry of Health Mohamed Abdel Fattah urged citizens to strictly adhere to the preventive measures against coronavirus, warning that the next 10 days are the most serious.





Abdel Fattah in remarks to media said the severity of this coronavirus wave will ease during the upcoming days.





So, far 2 million people have registered to receive the coronavirus vaccine, including 900,000 who have been already vaccinated, Abdel Fattah said.





He noted that the ministry seeks to vaccinate 200,000 citizens per day and that 360 centers have been allocated for vaccination until now.
