GCC Covid-19 update: 2,779 infections reported in Saudi; Oman registers 1,318 cases

Oman has registered a total of 257 deaths

Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health reported 2,779 Covid-19 infections and 42 deaths on July 12.

The city of Riyadh posted 247 cases, followed by Jeddah (191) and Al Hafouf (164).

The death toll now stands at 2,223, while the infection count has risen to 232,259.

As many as 1,009 Omanis tested positive among the 1,318 new Covid-19 infections diagnosed across the sultanate, the Ministry of Health confirmed on July 12.

The ministry also confirmed nine additional deaths, raising the death toll to 257.
