GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,161 cases; 319 infections confirmed in Oman

The UAE has reported 1,161 additional Covid-19 cases, 1,493 recoveries and two deaths in the last 24 hours.

The detection of the new cases followed 116,083 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

Consequently, the registered infection count has risen to 137,310, including 134,983 recoveries and 505 deaths.

Oman

The Ministry of Health has registered 319 new coronavirus cases and 11 deaths across the sultanate.

The total cases now equal 116,847, including 106,903 recoveries and 1,275 fatalities, Times of Oman reported.
