KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Sunday reported 10 new COVID-19 deaths, and 992 infections in the past 24 hours. Al-Sanad told KUNA that the total fatalities increased to 1,645, and the caseload to 285,068 since the beginning of the pandemic.

He added that the total recoveries have reached 269,633 after 1,317 patients recovered from coronavirus today making the recovery rate 94.59 percent out of the conducted tests. Moreover, 13,790 patients in total are receiving health care, including 210 at intensive care units, he said. Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours 7,204 tests were conducted, with infection rate 13.77 percent, making the total conducted tests 2,403,736, he added.
