Ministry of Health issues guidelines for companies to reserve vaccines for their employees| Times of Oman

Companies and institutions in the private sector wishing to reserve quantities for the vaccination of their employees must contract with one of the private hospitals or clinics authorised by the Ministry to give vaccines, the Ministry of Health said. A circular issued by the Ministry of Health to the executive heads and directors of companies and institutions in the private sector said that, with reference to the initiative of some companies to support national efforts to confront the pandemic by contributing to bearing the cost of vaccinating their employees and workers, and in order to organise procedures for providing and administering the vaccine in the private sector in accordance with the conditions and technical requirements necessary to ensure the safety of the vaccine recipient, the following has been decided: 1- Companies and institutions wishing to reserve quantities for the vaccination of their employees must contract with one of the private hospitals or clinics authorised by the Ministry to give vaccines, noting that the vaccines are disbursed through the private health institution referred to above. 2- With regard to the sectors and institutions that have private clinics for their employees and in which the qualified medical staff and the necessary emergency
