Oman aims 70% of population inoculated by 2021
More than 70 percent of citizens and residents in Oman will be vaccinated by the end of 2021, Oman’s Minister of Health said.
According to Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Oman will receive one million doses of PfizerbioNTech, in addition to 100,000 doses from other companies during June. Furthermore, teams will be formed to vaccinate all workers in government institutions and to provide COVID-19 vaccines to the private sector through licensed institutions and clinics.
Mobile vaccination campaigns will also continue till the end of 2021.
