Experts praise Qatar’s experience in biomedicine

Qatar - In a session on 'Disrupting Healthcare: The Radical Changes Shaping the Biomedical Industry' held within the activities of the ongoing Qatar Economic Forum in Doha, a number of experts, researchers and academics praised the Qatari experience and the steps taken by the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in advancing the field of biomedicine and attracting the latest relevant technologies.

The session's speakers attributed this to the optimal use of physical and human capital in attracting companies operating in this field and stimulating the private sector to invest in it, stressing that this region can play a major and pioneering role in the development of biomedical technology building on its network of relations with developed Western countries in this area.
