QU Health Professionals launch series of educational webinars in support of World Autism Month

The Department of Continuous Professional Development for Health Professionals (CPD-HP) at Qatar University (QU) announced the start of a series of an online educational seminars, as a commitment to enhancing knowledge and raising the level of patient care.QU said in a statement on Thursday that these webinars aim to raise awareness and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and support the goals of World Autism Month, adding that its weekly webinar series will begin on April 24 and will extend over five consecutive weeks, providing participants with a unique opportunity to interact with national experts, actively contribute to discussions and expand their understanding of ASD.QU explained that the inaugural webinar will introduce diagnosis and genetic factors, and subsequent sessions will cover strategies for care delivery by multidisciplinary teams.
