Saudi Arabia reports 10 cases of new COVID-19 strain

Saudi Arabia has reported 10 cases of the new coronavirus variant, the Health Ministry announced.Dr. Mohammed Al Abdul Ali, the ministry's spokesperson, said “We have detected 10 cases of the new COVID-19 strain. They have fully recovered after being placed under quarantine and intensive follow-up.”The ministry conducted all the necessary procedures for 27 people who had been in contact with the infected patients. “They have tested negative; however, they were also put under quarantine,” Dr. Al Abdul Ali explained.He confirmed there are no active cases of the new mutated virus now.
