Saudi opens world’s biggest camel hospital
The camel hospital, worth SAR100m, stretches over 70,000 square metres
The world's biggest camel hospital has been inaugurated in the Saudi Arabian city of Buraidah, in Qassim.
The Salam Veterinary hospital, opened on Sunday, also has a research facility to diagnose diseases related to camels.
The project, worth SAR100m, stretches over 70,000 square metres and is hoped to improve veterinary facilities in the kingdom.

The check-up facilities at the hospital can handle 144 camels while the sheds can accommodate 4,000 riding camels at the same time.
The hospital's specialised central laboratories have over 60 pieces of equipment and devices, that can conduct 160 types of analyses.
