Seriously ill expat airlifted from Hotat Bani Tamim to Riyadh

Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — A seriously ill expatriate was saved by a timely airlift from Hotat Bani Tamim to Riyadh. The expatriate, who suffered from heart attack caused by myocardial infarction, received primary treatment at Hotat Bani Tamim General Hospital. The authorities of the hospital, which is a member of the First Riyadh Health Cluster, contacted the referral center to transfer the patient urgently to King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh. Subsequently, the patient was immediately airlifted to the Riyadh hospital, located 130 north of Hotat Bani Tamim governorate. This was part of the cluster’s plan to expand provision of urgent medical services to critical cases from its affiliated hospitals in various governorates of the Riyadh region.
