UAE Al Hosn app updated to act as e-register for Covid-19 vaccine

The UAE's Al Hosn app has been updated to serve as the national e-register for the Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

The app already acts as a database for Covid-19 testing results and contact tracing.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority emphasised the new role for the app, in a post on Twitter.

The authority said the app can be used by an individual to demonstrate they have been vaccinated.

“The data available in [the app] are official documents that prove vaccination, and people can save the record and print it whenever needed,” read the tweet.







The announcement came
