UAE COVID-19 vaccination doses surpass 2 million, covering nearly 21% of population

Saudi Gazette reportABU DHABI — The United Arab Emirates has so far administered more than two million doses of coronavirus vaccine, the country's health ministry announced on Tuesday.According to the ministry, 93,846 doses of the vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours as part of the ongoing nationwide campaign.This brings the total number of doses administered so far to 2,065,367., covering nearly 21 percent of the country's population.

This is in line with the ministry's plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the spread of the virus.
