UAE lists residents who are exempted from the coronavirus vaccination

Dr. Farida Al Hosani, Official Spokesperson of the UAE Health Sector and Director of the Communicable Diseases Department of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) on Thursday shed light on the list of people exempted from taking the vaccine in the UAE.

 

She explained in the video that pregnant women, people with severe allergic reactions and people with other medical conditions and complications should avoid getting vaccinated.

 

She stressed on the fact of how we should still continue to avoid crowded places as much as possible to avoid any infections.

 

“Avoid going to crowded places. However, if it is necessary to go, follow all precautionary measures.”

 

Dr. Hosan had previously said that the types of vaccines available in the country are among the best in the world, noting that the UAE aims to enlarge the scope of people taking the vaccine to reach acquired immunity, which will reduce infections.
