Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,100 cases, highest daily increase since the outbreak
The UAE confirmed 1,100 new Covid-19 cases on September 30, recording its highest daily increase in new infections since the virus broke out in the country,
Local health authorities had conducted 105,615 tests in 24 hours, which led to the detection of the additional cases.
The second highest daily rise in infections, totalling 1,083, was recorded on September 23.

The health ministry also confirmed 1,186 additional recoveries and three fatalities.
Since the virus was first reported in the UAE, a total of 94,190 people have been infected, of whom 83,724 have recovered, while 419 have succumbed to the contagion.
