UAE’s Mulk Healthcare launches Middle East’s first digital hospital

Mulk Healthcare has announced the launch of the Middle East's first digital hospital with a network of 2,000 doctors and access to diagnostic clinics, hospitals and medical experts.

The e-hospital will function as a digital healthcare system, allowing patients to consult doctors, check their vital signs, get diagnosis, treatment and medication, as well as have access to worldwide hospitals from the comfort of their homes.

Mulk Healthcare, the partnership firm between Mulk brothers of conglomerate Mulk Holdings, has launched the digital hospital in the form of a healthcare app that offers a full spectrum of healthcare services from consultation to post hospital care.

Through the app, any patient from across the world - either from a city or a remote area - will have access to quality healthcare from international experts in each medical field based in the US, the UK, Thailand, Pakistan, Europe and India, in addition to those in the UAE and other GCC countries.

The global telemedicine technologies market was valued at $17.8bn in 2014, and is predicted to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 18 per cent from 2014 to 2020 reaching a current level of over $40bn.
