Bahrain: Tubli wastewater treatment plant expansion on track

The Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Esam bin Abdullah Khalaf, announced the project to expand the Tubli wastewater treatment plant and its significance.The minister assessed the progress of work on Phase Four of the expansion project that aims to accommodate the increased flow of waste water, taking the average daily flow capacity of 200,000 m3/day to reach a full average daily flow capacity of 400,000 cubic meters/day.The project includes a “collection room” for wastewater streams 21 meters underground and a pump 25.1 meters underground that will receive wastewater flows from the collection room.Comments Read Next1 week agoBahrain to rebuild walls of 13 public schools4 weeks agoBahrain: Lanes on Sh.
