Pushkian after meeting Kassarji: Industrial investments provide job opportunities

NNA – Minister of Industry, George Pushkian, met today with the head of the Chaldean community in Lebanon, Archbishop Michel Kassarji, with talks touching on public affairs in the Bekaa and Zahle regions.

In a statement issued by Pushkian’s media office, it indicated that “both men tackled the economic and social conditions prevailing in the country, and how to secure the elements of resilience and sustenance in light of the exacerbation of crises and their impact on people's affairs and the need to relieve pressure on citizens.”

Pushkian thanked Kassarji for his visit, stating that he "endeavors to encourage industrial investments and create a favorable atmosphere to help secure job opportunities," and assuring that “the government is serious in its efforts to place Lebanon on the production, export and recovery track."
