Q-Chem receives operational excellence award – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem) has won the President’s Award for Operational Excellence (OE) in the large petrochemical manufacturing facility category of the 2021 Chevron Phillips Chemical Company (Chevron Phillips Chemical) award program.

Bruce Chinn, President and CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical, stated that the OE President’s Award is presented annually to the best of Chevron Phillips Chemical’s facilities and company affiliates across the globe. Through this program, the company recognizes exceptional performance in personal safety, process safety, environmental, product stewardship, reliability, and security. Mr. Chinn continued by saying that these awards also encourage joint venture companies wto continue improving and strengthening their performance.
