Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health announced it began clinical trials for a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine in the kingdom, within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the kingdom and China, according to an official statement issued late on Saturday.





Early stages have shown the vaccine is effective with antibodies in the plasma of the volunteers.





An action plan for the third stage is being developed at the moment in collaboration with China's CanSino Company.
