CAIRO – 18 April 2021: The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy reviewed the ministry's efforts with its various companies to raise the efficiency of the electric grid and improve the level of performance, within the area of ​​the South Sharqiya sector, which includes (Derb Negm, Inshas, ​​Minya al-Qamh, and Mashtul al-Souq) and includes about 139 centers and villages with a number of subscribers about 900,000 subscribers.

 

The Egyptian Electricity Authority stated in a statement issued, Sunday, that during the period from July 2014 to February 2021, expansion and replacement works were carried out to raise the efficiency of the electricity network in the governorate and improve service for subscribers with investments amounting to about LE 385 million.

 

She said that a number of expansions have been replaced, renovated, and made, including "7 medium voltage distributors, 950 transformers and booths
