Brazil’s available gas down in December
Sao Paulo, 21 January (Argus) — Brazil's natural gas available to buyers was down by 5.6pc in December to 54.46mn m³/d (1.9 Bcf/d) compared with the same month last year, as the country directed more gas towards reinjection.
Available natural gas was down by 12pc compared to previous month's levels, according to preliminary data from Brazil's oil and gas regulator ANP.
Gas reinjection in December increased by 15pc from a year earlier, to 60.7mn m³/d, and was up by 5.7pc against the previous month.
