Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior heads back to Aberdeen for ‘Just Transition’ event

The Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior ship will be back in Aberdeen on Saturday for a live panel event on the need for a “just transition” for oil workers.

A panel discussion including Aberdeen North SNP MP Kirsty Blackman, RMT union boss Jake Molloy, Narayan Shrestha from Aberdeen Multicultural Centre and Steve Gray from Green Unison Scotland, as well as representatives from Aberdeen Climate Action and the Friends of St Fitticks Park community group will take part.

The event will be held at 2pm on Saturday at Aberdeen Harbour, with members of the public encouraged to join virtually via a livestream link.
