IOG reaches milestone as Blythe and Southwark platforms installed

Independent Oil and Gas (IOG) is celebrating the installation of its normally unmanned Blythe and Southwark gas platforms in the southern North Sea.

The Seaway Strashnov vessel was used to lift the topsides into position once the foundations were fixed in place and the jacket legs cut to height.

Both platforms were signed off as complete following ROV surveys.
