Oil General Directorate issues new table of prices

NNA – In an issued statement this morning, the General Directorate of Oil indicated that “based on the meeting that took place in Baabda on August 21, 2020, and based on the exceptional approval of the President of the Republic and the Caretaker Prime Minister, and in the presence of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, the Central Bank Governor and the Minister of Energy and Water (via ‘Zoom’ application), the attendees unanimously agreed to address the repercussions of the fuel crisis through adopting the dollar exchange rate of 8,000 L.L for the purchase of fuel.”

Accordingly, the statement indicated that starting Sunday morning, 22/8/2021, the price of a fuel can will be as follows:
