500 kilograms of counterfeit olive oil seized in Jerash – Roya News English
Around half a ton of counterfeit olive oil has been seized in Jerash, according to the Director of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mhaidat.
Mhaidat explained that the JFDA received a report from Jerash's Public Security Directorate indicating that about 30 tanks of counterfeit olive oil were discovered being transported by a vehicle.
He added that a test of the oil revealed an abnormal smell and color.
