Amman, Dec 14, 2020, SPA -- Jordan condemned today the targeting of an oil tanker in the port of Jeddah by a booby-trapped boat, which caused material damage to the ship.

The Official Spokesperson of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Deifallah Fayez said in a statement that Jordan strongly condemn and denounce this cowardly terrorist act, targeting vital installations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and threatening the freedom of maritime navigation and the security and stability of the region.

He expressed Jordan's support and solidarity with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, as well as supporting all actions it takes to preserve its security and stability.
