John Kerry UAE visit: We face an enormous global climate challenge – and it’s only growing

The United States climate envoy John Kerry warned the world must face up to the "enormous global challenge" together on his first day on a tour of the UAE.

The veteran politician used his first trip to Asia in his new role to signal the countdown to Cop26 in Glasgow - where leaders from across the globe will be urged to double down on environmental commitments.

Mr Kerry is in Abu Dhabi this week to attend the first Regional Climate Dialogue, jointly hosted on 4 April, by the UAE and the US.
