King Abdullah Medical City project is on the right track

Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al Ohaly, President of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU)
said the construction of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City was
progressing as planned with completion expected by the end of December, 2021.
"Despite the
challenges we are facing due to the spread of the novel Coronavirus +Covid-19+
pandemic which have certainly affected the progress of the construction works,
AGU is working hand-by-hand with the contractor to sketch a plan B to complete
it on time. Meanwhile, we are tirelessly working to be ready for operating the
City and put the recruitment plans as we want to attract unique human
resources,“ the president said after touring the project site to view the
progress of the construction.
"We are
striving to have the city added among Bahrain's health insurance system for
three reasons; firstly, to achieve the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud when he instructed to build the
city to serve the people of Bahrain and the GCC society. Secondly, AGU is
operating under governmental instructions from the Ministry of Educations and
the Higher Education Councils in the GCC states to meet the aspirations of the
people in this region and this will reflect on having King Abdullah Medical
City working in line with
