Work at Bahrain’s Salman City residential project on track

Bahraini authorities said that work has been stepped up at the Salman City with the aim of delivering 303 housing units and more than 1,300 apartments within the development, reported BNA.

The projects in Salman City are accelerating to their completion phase with the aim of speeding up the delivery of units and apartments to the citizens benefiting from the project, stated the report citing Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amena bint Ahmed Al Romaihi.

She was speaking after inspection tour of the Salman City, one of the major projects being carried out in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and order of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to build 40,000 housing units in the kingdom.

"The most prominent characteristic of the projects is the use of modern building models whether in houses or apartments, according to the sixth generation of residential buildings and the interior model of the apartments were designed based on studies and citizens wishes were taken into consideration," stated Al Romaihi.

"As part of the project, housing plots are also being readied along with key infrastructure services to make them construction-ready," the minister said.
