Egypt’s PM follows up on 250K social housing units’ project
CAIRO – 12 October 2020: Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly held a meeting, Monday, to follow up on the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's mandates, to provide 250,000 social housing units, as well as offering units for the Housing for Egyptians project.
Housing Minister, Assem El-Jazzar, confirmed the Social Housing Fund's readiness, to announce the reservation of the first 125,000 housing units as part of the president's assignments. The minister pointed out that the approval of the Social Housing Fund's board of directors was issued for the offering.
“We are awaiting the approval of the Council of Ministers this week, to be announced immediately afterward”, Jazzar said during the meeting.
