Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi had a meeting on Saturday with Presidential Adviser for Urban Planning Maj. Gen. Amir Sayed Ahmed to follow-up on the executive plan for the national project that is to develop 1000 villages nationwide, a statement by the Egyptian presidency said.

During the meeting, Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady said that El-Sisi has directed the crystallisation of the national project in the context of an integrated and organised effort by all concerned governmental agencies.
