UNICEF launches first e-governance project to strengthen child rights in partnership with municipality of Kab Elias Wadi el Dalam

NNA - As part of its commitment to improve child rights across Lebanon, UNICEF launched the first e-governance project in partnership with the municipality of Kab Elias Wadi el Dalam to strengthen the child focused data and municipal governance system. 

“The Beqaa Governorate is working closely with UNICEF and the Governor's Office to address issues related to children's rights,” said Kamal Abou Jaoude Beqaa Governor. “In this context, UNICEF together with the municipality of Kab Elias Wadi El-Dalam, are jointly working on strengthening local governance in general, and in particular child related-governance systems. This cooperation is an opportunity for the Beqaa region to activate the work of local electronic governance to also include other municipalities”.
