Muscat: Laila bint Ahmed bin Awadh Al-Najar, Minister of Social Development, said that the Omani Women's Day is a precious occasion and a source of pride for Omani women and is celebrated by all sectors of society. The role Omani woman has played throughout the country's history has been recognised by the government.It is a day of pride for the Omani woman and is a day wherein we recall with gratitude the support the Omani women had received from late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur who led the Blessed Renaissance, she said.“We are privileged with the Royal Care accorded by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik who has reaffirmed his belief in the capabilities of the Omani women and for His Majesty the Sultan's royal care for engagement
