In particular, the statistics reveal a substantial rise in mobile broadband subscriptions, reaching a staggering 6 million subscriptions by the end of 2023. This marks a significant uptick of 5.5% compared to figures recorded at the close of 2022, indicating a growing reliance on mobile internet services among the Omani populace.

Simultaneously, the report highlights a robust increase in fixed internet subscriptions, reaching 563.7 by the end of 2023. This represents a notable growth rate of 4.6% compared to the previous year, underscoring the sustained demand for reliable and high-speed internet connectivity across residential and commercial sectors in the country.
