Khatib & Alami wins lead design contract for 39,456m2 hospital project in Riyadh – MEP MiddleEast
Saudi Arabia's HAIF Development Company has appointed international multidisciplinary consultancy Khatib & Alami (K&A) as the lead designer for its first healthcare project, which will be located on a prime site in the heart of Riyadh.
With a built-up area of 39,456m2, the proposed 300-bed general hospital will provide a full breadth of healthcare and diagnostics services.
The project will be designed by K&A according to international healthcare standards, and will meet LEED best practice sustainability requirements.
Subject to authority approvals, the design phase will be completed in December 2021, with construction expected to take 11 months.
