King Salman approves project to build grand mosque at Islamic varsity campus in Islamabad





RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved a project to build a grand mosque named after him at the new campus of the International Islamic University (IIU) in Pakistan’s capital city, Islamabad.

The project, which is located in the H10 sector of the city, includes a prayer hall for men, which can accommodate 4,000 worshipers, and another for women can accommodate 2,000 worshipers, in addition to the courtyard that can accommodate 6,000 people.

The project also includes a library and a museum named after King Salman Custodian, the conference hall named after Crown Prince Muhammed Bin Salman, as well as an area for administrative services and parking.
