KSrelief launches Ramadan food basket distribution project in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Saudi Arabia's charity arm, launched here on Monday the project to distribute food baskets for the holy month of Ramadan in Pakistan.The inauguration took place during a ceremony held in Islamabad, which was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and a number of officials.The director of the KSrelief Office in Pakistan Dr. Khaled Bin Muhammad Al-Othmani explained that the project includes the distribution of 20,700 food baskets, weighing 850 tons, and one basket containing basic foodstuffs that are sufficient for one family throughout the holy month, benefiting 20,700 needy families, in 10 districts in the Pakistani province of Balochistan.For his part, Ambassador Al-Maliki explained that this project is an extension of the humanitarian projects that the KSrelief is implementing under the direction of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.He added that this project comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects presented by KSrelief aiming
